I think you can change the grind of the coffee by taking the nut off of the handle and taking off the handle. There should be an adjusting ring by the spindle to change the grind. IDK if all antique grinders are the same but give it a try.

I would love to know more about consigning framed art and antique furniture (you mentioned it for your artwork when you showed it leaning against the bedroom wall). I would love a "how to" video - where to go, how to know it's a fair price to ask and a fair commission to pay. Or is it just luck and guesswork?

Beautiful job with the flowers Linda! Our home, located in central Maine, isn’t named but it does have a history plaque that reads “ Albion & Mary (Hutchinson) Stevens circa 1885 Hotel Keepers and Exchange House”. I wasn’t sure what was meant by “exchange house” so I contacted our local historic society and learned that back in the day people traveling on horse could bring their tired horse here, to our home, and exchange it for a new horse and they could rent rooms. I was very excited to learn this little piece of history. Needless to say my husband bought me a metal doctor for christmas😊. We have 26 acres and I’m hoping to locate their old dump site as you have on your property. ❤

Loved this! I have a Post It note in my car that reads “Say out loud every day 10 things you are grateful for”. It can be as simple as “I am grateful that I woke up and my back didn’t hurt” or “I’m grateful I had food in my house for breakfast”. You get the idea. Doing that sets the stage for my attitude that day. Try it.

We have always named our homes, vacation condo at the beach and mountain cabin. Names have been: "The River Mill House", which is up the hill from the Chattahoochee River. "Qrazy Qrab Quarters" our St Simons Island Beach Condo, our mountain cabin "The Cabin on Sparkling Lake", our first home in Pasadena CA "Rose Tree Cottage" and now our charming two story brick colonial "Seanta" (combo of Seattle and Atlanta where we are from).

I have been watching your videos for over a year now., and no one should get between me and youtube on Sundays so I can catch your new video. You would think that I would have watched more of your older videos, nope. Now I'm ODing on your videos from 3 4 5 years ago, lolol. I love your sense of humor and if I have calculated correctly , I am 3 years and 1 week older. (Also an Oct. Baby). Thanks for hours of enjoyment and ideas. I love this video! I'm so very grateful my husband survived a massive heart attack one year ago this month. We celebrated by staying in a historic Inn in Virginia and a splurge meal. The cloud was magnificent!

I too enjoy peaceful days and browsing in small stores especially when I’m on vacation. There are not too many unique stores/shops around me. It seems since covid many small businesses have closed. I must confess I don’t watch clouds unless it’s a sunny day, and the clouds are fluffy and plentiful.

How charming to see places and stores that are so different. Nice to know that every part of the country doesn't lock up everything behind glass cabinets because the people are untrustworthy. Very calming, very relaxing to see the lifestyle in New England country side. Thank you for bringing it to us.

I'm thankful for the beautiful world God gave us and that I have time to enjoy it 💐

Two years ago, we demolished my childhood home and rebuilt. It is an hour away and not our primary residence. We had rented the old house out for years but renters trashed the interior and it was no longer inhabitable. One of my favorite childhood memories is swinging under a large Rowan tree in the yard. I named our new house Rowan House. We list it as a vacation rental when we aren’t using it and the name, combined with the Rowan leaves and orange berries graphic, are a great marketing tool.

The coffee looked rather coarse, even for a French press, but you may be able to adjust the grind with the screw that attaches the handle. Also, freshly ground coffee starts to deteriorate after just 1 hour, so I always grind coffee just before I brew it. BTW, I love your aesthetic sensibilities.

My husband was an 18 th wheeler for the oil fields. He would sit on top of his truck and tell the lightening to " Show me the magic" every time there was a storm coming It's amazing what you will see

I’m pretty sure the coffee grinder can be adjusted for a finer grind. My Grandparents had one that was adjustable. Something on top that you can turn one way or the other. ❤
